I used to be a journalist, and after different good and not so enriching experiences, I discovered that what I loved was creativity and the best place to do it was by working in the advertising, marketing, and strategic communications world.

Now, after some years, I am convinced that I can't stop thinking about ideas for brands starting from a customer-centric perspective using agile marketing, design thinking, or lean startup as methodological tools to get results.

CONTROLLED DAYDREAMER

I start with why, and then, to tell and create stories I dive into the deepest corners of the mind, my heart, and the imagination that comes naturally from details that influence my every day. By having constant fragments and sparks of creativity during the day, I believe my brain and senses get stronger and faster. By being a declared controlled daydreamer I boost my work and projects to where it needs to be without losing focus on the objectives.

AN OVERSIMPLIFIED VERSION OF ME

I’m a relentless traveler and wanderlust(er) that enjoys to visit and revisit places to discover new angles and vibes for the benefit of my creative process.

Music is my addiction; scotch is my drink of choice, reading comics; it’s just the nerd and child inside me that refuses to die. I’m a happily frustrated musician, an artist that is not really an artist, a Real Madrid lover, an active reader, a proud Colombian nomad, an abusive marathonist (movies/Netflix), and a lucky husband of a Colombian blonde beauty that holds my hand through life.
